description
Seven bright orange plastic chairs sit on the viewing platform that looks out over the Schilthorn, the summit in the Bernese Alps of Switzerland.
The skiers and snow-sports enthusiasts are conspicuous by their absence, the seven varied glass and plastic bottles of Cola and Fanta littered across the plastic dining tray that sits in a now elevated positive on the table.
The bright vibrant orange captures the eye of the viewer and contrasts boldly with the smooth, icy tones of the Schilthorn behind. Melting into the distance, in a sea of icy tones, the Schilthorn appears vast and yet inconscpicuous.
The Schilthorn looks over the Lauterbrunnen Valley in the Bernese Oberland, and has the merit of being the highest mountain in the northern range of the Sefinenfurgge Pass.
